Some non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s can benefit from non-pharmacological treatment. This session considers the role of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), an evidence-based intervention for the neuropsychiatric symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, as an important adjunct to advanced therapies and the role of social support in reducing isolation.

This session provides an overview of neuropalliative care, which includes advanced therapies and other treatments geared toward improving patient wellbeing.
