About me
Emily Weaver, MSW, LICSW serves as Clinical Social Worker at the MedStar/Georgetown University Huntington’s Disease Care, Education, and Research Center (HD-CERC). Emily obtained her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh, with a certificate in Mental Health. Emily’s previous experience includes social work in acute hospitals, primarily serving patients and families impacted by traumatic brain injury and stroke, as well as alternative to incarceration programs, and school social work. Emily is passionate about being an advocate for patients and assisting patients and their families in navigating the healthcare system.
